Steelway Material Handling requires an individual to manage the daily
operations of the Steelway Material Handling division.
Duties
- Create an exemplary team through skill development and additional personnel
- Manage and lead all aspects of the SMH division (sales, service, customer service, etc)
- Recognize the need for and assist in new production development
- Establish goals and objective for SMH division (both short term and long term) and create a plan to acheive them
- Create a yearly operating plan and budget
- Reporting to the management team
- Conduct yearly evaluations and wage review
- Establish policies and produces for the SMH division
- Ensure compliances with applicable code and standards
- Evaluate and establish training needs of the entire department
Technical Requirements
- Must have a good understanding of equipment manufacturing, sales, and service
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent all around computer skills and abilities
- Risk taker who adjusts quickly to changing trends
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, strategic thinking mind and superior interpersonal skills
Education and Experience
- Post secondary education in business management or equivalent experience
- Experience managing and growing a business
- Experience in equipment or custom manufacturing
